Nissan Pulsar Hatch (ST, ST-L 2013)

Nissan Pulsar

5 Pros

  1. The Pulsar Hatch is one of the cheapest cars of this size
  2. Good interior space, especially in the rear
  3. Easy enough to drive with good visibility
  4. 5 star safety in the sedan version should translate to the hatch
  5. No longer called the Tiida

5 Cons

  1. Poor fuel efficiency and generally pretty boring
  2. Only a three year warranty (the Hyundai i30 and Kia Rio have 5)
  3. The Mazda 3 and Ford Focus are a better drive
  4. The Volkswagen Golf is much fancier and the Toyota Corolla has a stronger history
  5. The rear seats do not fold down flat meaning this one is not particularly practical (despite the size)

Concluding personality type: Rental car – fine if you can give it back
