Fiat Freemont

Freemont

5 Pros

  1. The Freemont is pretty much the cheapest SUV you can buy (ignoring the Nissan Dualis) and it comes with that all important fancy Italian badge
  2. Some very decent standard equipment, although no standard reversing camera
  3. The diesel engine is quite fuel efficient
  4. The 7 seat option only costs an extra $1.5k and the interior space is pretty good
  5. Some clever touches such as in built booster seats

5 Cons

  1. 4 out of 5 star safety – simply not good enough
  2. Tiny boot with all seven seats in use (the Ford Territory, Hyundai Santa Fe and Kia Sorrento are better choices if you need to carry 7 and luggage)
  3. The petrol engine has terrible fuel efficiency and towing capacity (beyond its already lethargic performance)
  4. Despite the looks, this model is FWD only
  5. The diesel is only available in manual and I would be worried about reliability

Concluding personality type: Broken Jigsaw: The pieces just don’t quite fit together
