Toyota Prius V (2013)

Toyota Prius V exterior

5 Pros

  1. The Prius V is a hybrid, so no surprise that it is one of the most efficient vehicles on the market
  2. It seats 7 in relative comfort and the middle row is better than some other people mover efforts
  3. Some nice standard equipment like a reversing camera and a heads up display
  4. Usual Toyota quality in terms of build quality (and hopefully reliability as well)
  5. Feeling good about yourself (at least until you see your reflection in it…)

5 Cons

  1. Not really a sporting bone in its body. The steering is a bit lifeless and overall it is pretty slow
  2. Tiny boot with all 7 seats in use
  3. Requires premium unleaded, which kind of mocks the cost savings from the good fuel efficiency
  4. No safety rating yet (but it should get the same 5 stars as the smaller Prius)
  5. The premium iTech version is too expensive compared to the basic one, despite the sat nav and auto braking features

Concluding personality type: Free love: Well you like the environment and have 5 kids…
