Mini Ray, Cooper and Cooper S (Second generation 2013)

Mini Cooper S

5 Pros

  1. The Mini’s excellent handling is now stuff of legend
  2. Incredible style that still turns heads
  3. Fun exhaust sound and faster engine in the Cooper S adds that extra smile factor
  4. Diesel engine is one of the most fuel efficient cars on the market
  5. 5 out of 5 star safety

5 Cons

  1. Lots of very good competition. The Audi A1 probably beats it for luxury at the bottom of the range and the Renault Megane RS265 probably beats it for performance at the top of the range. Add the spanking Fiat 500 Arbath to the mix and the Mini no longer owns this segment
  2. TIny boot, near unusable rear seats and no spare tyre
  3. There have been reports of poor reliability and expensive servicing costs in the past
  4. The ride can be harsh, the basic (non turbo charged) versions can be a little slow (although they are still fun) and the Mini can suffer from a bit of steering nervousness under hard acceleration
  5. New model is due soon

Concluding personality type: Austin Powers: Still terrific, but no longer a box office hit
