Suzuki Grand Vitara (2013 Third generation)

Suzuki Grand Vitara exterior

5 Pros

  1. The Suzuki Grand Vitara is pretty much the cheapest SUV you can buy with real off-road performance (although only in the 4WD version obviously…)
  2. Available in a 3 door version. The only real competitor in this market is the much more expensive Toyota Prado 3 door
  3. It doesn’t mind corners (but it is no sports car)
  4. Heaps of interior space in the 5 door version (the 3 door can be a little tight in the back)
  5. Chunky looks

5 Cons

  1. Poor fuel efficiency, which is not a surprise given the age of the vehicle, it has been around since 2005
  2. Not the nicest interior available and there are much fancier European compact SUV’s available at the same price of the 5 door (such as the Volkswagen Tiguan)
  3. Small boot space that becomes minuscule in the 3 door
  4. Only 4 out of 5 star safety (although it has not been tested since 2006)
  5. The ride can be quite fidgety

Concluding personality type: Satellite phone: Good if you need to go remote, but it doesn’t make much sense in town
