Holden Captiva 7 (Series 2 2013)

Holden Captiva 7 exterior

5 Pros

  1. The Holden Capitva 7 is one of the cheapest 7 seat compact SUV’s on the market (the main competitors are the Hyundai Santa Fe and Kia Soreto)
  2. The diesel engine has pretty good performance and ok fuel efficiency
  3. 5 out of 5 star safety
  4. Like lots of cars coming out of Korea, it actually looks pretty good (the Captiva 7 is built by Daewoo)
  5. Decent looking interior, although it can feel a little cheap

5 Cons

  1. V6 is not very smooth or efficient
  2. The ride of the Capitva 7 is generally considered quite choppy and it does not like corners very much
  3. With all 7 seats in action the boot space is severely compromised and it can be quite difficult to get into the last row in the first place
  4. Rear view camera not standard across the range
  5. Many European 5 seat SUV’s are cheaper (such as the Volkswagen Tiguan)

Concluding personality type: Discount airline: Primary attraction is the price
