BMW X3 (F25)

BMW X3 body

I think they saw her coming…

5 Pros

  1. The BMW X3 is probably the best handling car in its class and most of the engines are fast and reasonably fuel efficient (the xDrive30d in particular is very impressive)
  2. Big boot and a roomy interior (although the middle rear seat is a little squishy)
  3. Nicely built interior – although it can feel a little drab
  4. Reversing camera as standard… from a BMW… (I was shocked)
  5. 5 out of 5 star safety

5 Cons

  1. Nothing about this car makes you go wow (unlike the Range Rover Evoque)
  2. A slightly updated model is due soon and it is likely to have more equipment for the same price
  3. The petrol versions need the highest grade 98 premium unleaded
  4. Options (as always with BMW) are expensive e.g. almost $2k for metallic paint
  5. Probably not as capable off road as the Land Rover Freelander 2

Concluding personality type: Newspaper journalist: Good at their job, kinda famous, but nobody is really chasing them down the street
