Volvo V60 (Second generation 2013)

Volvo V60 exterior

5 Pros

  1. The V60 is another good looking Volvo. These station wagons are beginning to look positively sporty next to all the big SUV’s
  2. Safe, as you would expect. It has many of the same features as the upcoming Volvo V40 (voted the worlds safest car) such as auto braking to stop you hitting the car in front in traffic
  3. More unique than its German taxi spec competitors the BMW 3 Series and Audi A4 and it comes with an integrated booster seat
  4. V60 diesel hybrid coming up will probably be better than most cars in the range (but lets wait to see how expensive it is)
  5. New dual clutch gearbox is good (but the old Automatic is a bit slow)

5 Cons

  1. Boot is a little small for a wagon and smaller than most compact SUV’s
  2. The engine choices generally make you decide between ok performance or ok fuel efficiency and that is not ok
  3. Resale values of these big Volvo’s tend to be poor
  4. Apparently many of the models do not have a spare tyre
  5. Huge turning circle, but it is ok around corners at speed

Concluding personality type: Purple: Not a primary colour, but still interesting
