Hyundai Elantra (Fifth generation 2013)

Hyundai Elantra exterior

5 Pros

  1. The Hyundai Elantra is spacious with a big boot (although rear seat headroom can be a bit tight)
  2. 5 out of 5 star safety
  3. 5 year warranty
  4. Looks good, but the Hyundai i30 looks better
  5. Well sorted around corners (although question marks remain about the overall ride)

5 Cons

  1. No diesel engine available (unlike the Hyundai i30), although fuel efficiency is not too bad
  2. Funny looking dash may not be to everyone’s taste
  3. The more expensive models have a worse ride than the cheaper models (due to the bigger tyres)
  4. Cabin can be a bit noisy
  5. No standard reversing sensor

Concluding personality type: Doug Pitt: Nothing overtly wrong with him, but you probably want the brother (yes the Hyundai i30)
