Ford Focus (Mk3)

Ford Focus front

5 Pros

  1. Great dynamics – the Ford Focus has always been a good drive and the new model continues this legacy
  2. Nice interior and quality steering wheel
  3. Roomy rear seat and boot
  4. Pretty fuel efficient  The Focus also has a capless  refuelling system, seemingly invented for all those interesting people out there who have been complaining about fuel caps…
  5. Hugely popular offshore – Ford has sold millions of these cars

5 Cons

  1. 1.6L petrol engine is underpowered and will be shown up by the much more fuel efficient 3 cylinder model due next year
  2. Built in Thailand. Some of the earlier models did come from Germany
  3. Only the expensive model parks itself
  4. It looks pretty boring. Ford have made this car to appeal to global tastes – the end result is that no one wins…
  5. Ford has limited badge value. In Australia Ford still equals taxi

Concluding personality type: Home cooked meal: Tasty, but hardly glamorous
