Rolls-Royce Phantom Sedan – Series II

Rolls-Royce Phantom body

I’m sorry… you spent how much? Probably difficult to get away with that comment when you drive this

5 Pros

  1. In terms of road presence, nothing beats the Rolls Royce Phantom. Pure A-list
  2. Despite being over one million dollars the Rolls is such a work of art that it somehow avoids being ostentatious. It’s a bit like owning your own island, incredibly elitist, but nobody really hates you for it
  3. The front seats move in 18 directions, it takes 1 month to craft the wood (which comes all from the same tree) and the stripe down the side is hand painted – an absolute masterpiece from every angle
  4. Its pretty quick in a straight line (but that is really missing the point)
  5. The interior is silent and the sound system is magnificent

5 Cons

  1. You can choose from over 44,000 colours, not good for people who struggle making decision. I just feel sorry for the person who has to name them all
  2. Recently updated model has some pretty sophisticated technology, but the reason they had to update it was because the old model was becoming pretty ancient. The biggest issue these super luxury cars face is that while the exteriors always look good, the technology in the interiors always date badly. Its a bit like owning a Prada designed iPhone – its doesn’t matter how good the case is – it just isn’t going to look right when the new model comes out
  3. The side mirrors look like they belong on a bus
  4. They made an London Olympic edition… its like getting a tattoo when your drunk in Thailand – seems like a great idea at the time – but eventually you will just hope no one noticed
  5. Its big. Manoeuvring it around a narrow city is going to be a bit like carrying a tray of drinks through a busy pub – eventually something is going to spill

Concluding personality type: Napoleon: or anybody else who can get away with only having one name

Rolls-Royce Phantom dash

Probably not a suicide car bomber
