Skoda Yeti

Skoda Yeti body

Small pile of rocks perfect to show off Yeit’s off road capability to neighbours

5 Pros

  1. The Skoda Yeti’s have a very cool party trick, rear seats that fold out of the way and transform it into a van (so now you can pretend to be a tradie as well)
  2. Its rides nicely, which is surprising given its shaped like a boom box
  3. The smallest 1.2L 2 wheel drive version is cheap and fuel efficient
  4. Skoda is owned by Volkswagen, expect quality. Skoda regularly ranks in the top 5 for reliability in off shore surveys and this car is closely related to the VW Tiguan and Audi Q3
  5. The Skoda brand in Australia still feels fun, and even a little bit luxury. Plus there are loads of dealers and volumes are still low, so competition for your dollar should be strong

5 Cons

  1. The smaller engines do not mix well with heavy loads, like jogging after pasta , its probably going to be messy
  2. Premium unleaded required
  3. A bit short on standard features such as reverse parking sensors and sat nav
  4. Fancy automatic gearbox will be complicated to repair if it brakes
  5. With the rear seats in place the boot is small

Concluding personality type: Robin Williams: Brilliant, quirky, versatile, but can get expensive
