Mazda Mazda6 Wagon (2013 Third generation)

Mazda 6 wagon

5 Pros

  1. Terrific looks. Most Mazda’s now look as good as their European counterparts and the Mazda6 is no exception
  2. More than enough room for 5 adults with the added practicality offered by the wagon style boot
  3. Quality interior that is very well equipped (especially in the more expensive models)
  4. Diesel engine is terrific (and all the engine options are impressively fuel efficient)
  5. Great to drive and even better than the Mazda6 sedan due to the shorter wheel base

5 Cons

  1. Boot is a little smaller than some competitors (the much cheaper Hyundai i30 Tourer actually has a bigger boot and a 5 year warranty)
  2. The ride can be a little harsh and the interior has been reported as noisy
  3. Volkswagen Passat and Skoda Superb wagons have more European bade appeal
  4. Small SUV’s such as the Volkswagen Tiguan are cheaper (at the entry level)
  5. Poor rear visibility

Concluding personality type: Sunny day: Ticks most of the boxes

Terrific diesel engine, but flawed by the oil being contaminated by the diesel fuel during DPF regenerations.
Poor audio integration (USB) and GPS lock out function.
    Great looking and handling car.
