Mini Paceman

Mini Paceman

5 Pros

  1. Like all Minis, the paceman looks prestigious and goes around corners well. In general this car is a good compromise between the small original Mini’s handling and the Mini Countrman’s practicality
  2. Typically strong resale values
  3. Decent interior space from all four seats
  4. Ok sized boot (but still smaller than many hatch backs)
  5. Very fuel efficient (especially in manual form)

5 Cons

  1. Suffers from the typical Mini problems of a sometimes harsh ride, expensive options and a patchy reliability record
  2. The steering can get a little nervous under acceleration and the cabin quality has some questionable touches
  3. The standard Cooper version is slow (and in general the slightly more expensive Volkswagen Scirocco R, Renault Megane RS265, Ford Focus ST and Opel Asta OPC are much more sporty)
  4. The Countryman, on which it is based, only gets a sub par 4 out of 5 star safety rating
  5. Quite expensive compared to many European SUV’s (such as the Volskwagen Tiguan) and the Range Rover Evoque is probably classier

Concluding personality type: Curling: Kind of interesting, but you would have to be a big fan to live with it regularly
