Audi S5 (2013)

Audi S5

5 Pros

  1. The Audi S5 manages to be sporty and relaxed at the same time. This is one classy car
  2. Impressive engine and it is good around corners (and even better with the optional differential)
  3. The exhaust sound is pleasing, with a fun (slightly addictive) pop sound when you change gears
  4. Very livable day to day and it has a boot bigger than some SUV’s
  5. Impressive 7 speed auto gearbox

5 Cons

  1. Not quite as hard nosed as its rear wheel rivals (including the $20k cheaper BMW 335i coupe)
  2. Rear seat headroom is tight
  3. Poor fuel consumption for a normal day to day car (although not too bad for a performance car)
  4. It is heavy, so don’t expect to do anything too nimble
  5. Mixed reviews about the feel of the electronic steering and the excellent Mercedes C63 Coupe (or Audi RS5 for that matter) is only 10% more expensive

Concluding personality type: Hermes: Urban prestige, but seems expensive
