Mitsubishi Triton Dual Cab (2013 fourth generation)

Mitsubishi Triton

5 Pros

  1. One of the most popular Dual Cab utes mainly because the Triton was one of the first to bring in everyday styling to a utility vehicle
  2. 5 year warranty is class leading
  3. Good rear seat space and it is ok off road
  4. 3 tonne towing capacity is better than the Toyota Hilux (but on par with many competitors)
  5. Ok economy in the reasonably powerful diesel (but sill leagues apart from most SUV’s)

5 Cons

  1. 4 out of 5 star safety. Not good enough
  2. Smaller load space than many of its peers
  3. The base model get less airbags than the higher spec models (this is no longer seen in the majority of passenger cars)
  4. Pretty poor on road
  5. Been around since 2005, so it is beginning to look a little old

Concluding personality type: Travel insurance: Piece of mind (the five year warranty…) makes it worth a look
