Ford Kuga (2013 first generation)

Ford Kua exterior

5 Pros

  1. Good around corners with an ok engine. The Ford Kuga’s main appeal is that it is pretty fun to drive (for an SUV)
  2. 5 out of 5 star safety
  3. Made in Germany
  4. Looks pretty good (despite the design being designed in 2008)
  5. Not that many on the road (the model was only introduced into Australia last year), so it is still a little exclusive

5 Cons

  1. Poor rear seat space and one of the smallest boot’s in the SUV class
  2. No cheap 2WD entry model – most small SUV’s now start at $10k cheaper than the Kuga including the European Volkswagen Tiguan
  3. New model due next year and it will probably be cheaper, so expect resale value of this one to be bad
  4. Requires premium unleaded and the fuel efficiency of this car is sub par
  5. Big turning circle, noisy cabin and no reversing camera

Concluding personality type: Teen comedy: Some fun moments, but in general hard to recommend
