Volvo XC70 (2013 third generation)

XC70 exterior

5 Pros

  1. The Volvo XC70 gives you the ability to look like you may occasionally do some very minor off-roading
  2. Nice spacious interior with a huge boot (although the rear middle seat is a little cosy)
  3. 5 out of 5 star safety and the impressive Volvo City Safety system as standard (this will brake the car automatically to help you avoid an accident)
  4. Some decent standard equipment like rear parking sensors, two in-built child booster seats and a power operated tail gate
  5. European badge value (although probably not as much prestige as a European SUV such as the cheaper Volvo XC60)

5 Cons

  1. Quite expensive, but it is cheaper than the Audi A6 Allroad
  2. Pretty poor around corners and in general not very fast
  3. Fuel efficiency is outdated at best (the diesel) and just plain poor at worst (the petrol models)
  4. Big turning circle makes this hard to manoeuvre in town
  5. Expensive options (such as $4k for sat nav)

Concluding personality type: Open fire: Romantic feel is not enough to cover up its many issues

This is probably not going to end well…
