5 Pros

1. The Citroen C5 has European badge prestige for the same price as many Japanese mid-size cars
2. It looks more interesting than the similar German Volkswagen Passat (although I would probably also look at the Peugeot 508)
3. Nice interior that feels upmarket (although it can be a little hard to use)
4. 5 out of 5 star safety and pretty fuel efficient
5. Incredibly comfortable ride in most situations

5 Cons

1. Apparently the C5 can become a little bit unsettled over bumps in certain situations 
2. Dynamically the Mazda 6 is better and in general the C5 is pretty slow (and has far from class leading fuel efficiency)
3. Limited practicality upfront with a small gearbox and hard to use cupholder
4. Sat Nav appears not to be available on some models
5. Some question marks around resale value and reliability (and the Australian distributor is about to change)

Concluding personality type: Ugg boot: Comfortable interesting alternative to the normal shoe (but I would not wear them for anything sporty…)
