Citroen C4 (Second generation 2013)

Citroen C4

A shame Citroen did not make a new version of this commercial

5 Pros

  1. One of the cheapest European small cars you can buy. The Citroen C4 is your winning entry into carpark snobbery
  2. The interior is beautiful and worthy of the European badge (the exterior is not too bad either)
  3. Plenty of rear seat space and one of the biggest boots in the class
  4. Reasonably fuel efficient engines (and the diesel is terrific)
  5. 5 out of 5 star safety

5 Cons

  1. Not exactly the best choice for sporty drivers – the Mazda 3 and Volkswagen Golf are more efficient around corners
  2. Pretty slow in a straight line
  3. The standard version, while cheap, is a bit stingy on equipment (for example rear seat passengers will need to wind up the windows themselves)
  4. The brakes have been noted as being a little grabby
  5. Some question marks around resale value and reliability (and the Australian distributor is about to change)

Concluding personality type: Cider: An interesting alternative to the norm
