1. The Subaru WRX is a legend in terms of straight line speed. It is pretty much the quickest new car under $40k you can buy (in sedan form)
2.  The looks are intimidating. There is no question the Rex means business
3. 5 out of 5 star safety is a relief given the Subaru’s speed
4. Decent interior space and four door practicality
5. Respect from every hoon on the road

1. Not the hero it once was. Dynamically it is not up to the current standard and many consider the Megane RS265 to be better
2. The cabin remains cheap and tacky
3. The STi begins to approach the price of the excellent BMW M135i
4. Terrible fuel efficiency across the range
5. Desperately needed new model is due soon
