1. It looks different (and thankfully pretty good). You will certainly get noticed driving the DS4
2. Petrol engines are quite willing (if slow) and it is ok around corners
3. Good fuel efficiency
4. 5 out of 5 star safety
5. Some good standard equipment like auto headlights and a fancy extended windscreen that goes over your head

5 Cons

1. The rear windows do not open… on purpose…
2. There are other cars that are more sporty and more practical for the price (Toyota 86, Golf GTi, Focus ST, Megane RS265 and even the Citoren DS3 to name a few…)
3. Visibility towards the rear is not great
4. Rear legroom is tight
5. The gearbox gets a bad rap and the interior has some cheap touches
