1. The Opel Insignia was the 2009 European car of the year, so it’s pretty good (although this also won in 2009…)
2. Well built with a high quality interior and a big boot
3. Made in Germany (as opposed to so many other brands that just use German badges)
4. 5 out of 5 star safety and it is pretty efficient (at least in diesel form)
5. Parking sensors as standard

5 Cons

1. New brand in Australia, so it is a bit difficult to asses its value at this stage
2. The underlying model is getting a bit old having been around since 2008
3. Rear seat headroom is not great due to the sloping roof
4. Dynamically a little boring and the ride is poor
5. Rearward visibility is not terrific
